Saihôshi Redemption is the sequel of Saihôshi, The Guardian, a yaoi-themed OEL manga published by Yaoi Press. It takes place in an heroic-fantasy world, where adventure and humor mix with romance and relationships between the M/M characters. You don’t need to have read the manga to enjoy this story but, we recommend you to give it a try, anyway.

The setting is a world where several kingdoms coexist in peace thanks to an Order of warriors known as the Guardians. They have been trained since young to fulfill their duty no matter what, since for a Guardian, failure in a mission means to be expeled from the Order, and death.

Atention: It contains Spoilers of Saihôshi, The Guardian.

It’s been two years since Sastre, The Guardian of the North, decided to betray the Order and run away with Kaleth, servant and lover of prince Anel. Since then, they’ve lived in an isolated cabin in the Forest of the East.  This is Yinn’s territory, the Guardian who helped them in their escape.

However, Sastre’s betrayal has come to light, so the Order sends the only warriors who can defeat a Guardian: the fearsome Executioners.

Now, Sastre, Kaleth, and Yinn will face retribution for their acts in a journey that will reveal the obscure secrets of the Order and will put their feelings to a test.

Characters:

Sastre, Guardian of the North: The main character of this story. He was an austere and responsible Guardian unfamiliar with feelings until he met Kaleth. Loyal to his friends, Sastre doesn’t hesitate to protect his loved ones, to the cost of his own life.

Kaleth: This kid has matured far away from the comfort of the castle where he served and has become a young man. But his temper and rebelliousness haven’t changed at all. For that reason, Kaleth is unable to just stand there doing nothing when destiny shatters his peaceful life with Sastre.

Yinn, Guardian of the East: Mischievous, cheeky and a bit sarcastic, Yinn is the Guardian who helped Sastre to desert. Although he seems to move on his own benefit, deep down this Guardian hides a noble soul and a painful thorn nailed in his heart.

Shen: Executioner of the East and brother of Yinn, he seems to bear him some grudge.
